Our work

Svytlo's mission is to support Ukraine in every possible way, including fundraising.

We work directly with non-profit organisations in the UK and Ukraine, making sure that the donations go where they are needed the most.

Here is where we've donated for so far:

Breaking the chains

Breaking the chains is building combined facilities, which serve as both a shelter for the displaced animals, and as a rehabilitation center for the Ukrainian defenders who suffer from trauma and PTSD. We have donated proceeds from the artworks sold during the INTER::RUPTED II exhibition to their cause.

Iain Gordon & Jeeps for peace

We have donated for the delivery of 3 medical vehicles to a military hospital in Vinnitsya, as well as fully paying for a purchase of one ambulance

Lights for Ukraine

Svytlo fundraised for, purchased and delivered 40 rechargeable lights in December, 2022, when Russian strikes on civillian infrastructure caused mass blackouts across Ukraine. The lights were distributed to elderly people in Kyiv, Vinnitsya and Dnipro.

Individual fundraisers

Verified individual fundraisers and actions have been supported, including:
  • - water-tank vehicle to supply water in east Ukraine villages near the frontline
  • - prosthetics for the Ukrainian defenders in their twenties
  • - "Uthentic" fest - series of Ukrainian cultural workshops in Glasgow
